Does cropping permanently remove page content?

No. Cropping adjusts the CropBox - the visible area - but the full page data remains in the file. Another tool could reveal the hidden content.

What unit should I use for margins?

Margins are entered in PDF points. 1 inch = 72 points, 1 cm ≈ 28 points. For a 1 cm margin on each side, enter 28.

Can I crop different edges by different amounts?

Yes. Each edge (top, right, bottom, left) has its own input field, so you can trim asymmetrically.

What if my margins are too large?

PDFredo validates that the resulting crop area has positive dimensions. If the margins are too large, an error is returned.

Can I crop only specific pages?

Currently all pages are cropped with the same margins. Per-page crop settings are planned for a future version.
