What formats are extracted?

Images are extracted in their embedded format — typically JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. You can optionally convert all images to a single format.

Can I extract from a scanned PDF?

A scanned PDF is one large image per page. Use PDF to Image instead to get page screenshots. Extract Images works best with PDFs that contain multiple distinct embedded images.

Is there a limit on the number of images?
